This is the kind of song that just happens when a man has one of those rare occasional moments in life when God, for the moment, has us opened in a diect line from our soul to His shining grace. Then the troubadour doesn't take the milliseconds most of us singers take with songs to think the words and let them role from our lips. We don't even feel the tiny familiar scratchiness of the strings as we unconsciously find the accompanying chords. It's simply a rare moment of purity when we are the music and it flows from our soul to God with no interruption. Like the moment the preacher lifts us from the water down by the riverside to a purity we've never known before, the music just is. And it's not just heard by folks to be enjoyed. The words and sounds become a stringtie singer testifying. Those within the sound of the music for those brief moments know what I'm saying.
Dan.
