Yess paramore!
In my opinion, this song speaks in point of view of a girl who was in love, and probably confessed her love, too. Maybe the person she was in love with didn't know how to react to that out of immaturity or something else, but it left the girl devastated to the point where she dreams about her past with him (keyword: and wake up early to black and white reruns). She probably regrets going too fast with him.

Personally, I'm pretty sure it's one dude tryna to explain to somebody about his best childhood friend, who was female of course, but how also it was the girl he was in love with. Now currently he feels as if he doesn't know what to do without her, hence the line, "Where do we go now?"
That question has been asked a lot in the 80's. There were probably a lot of departs and break ups.
