I hate you all. How about writing about the song's meaning, not just fapping over how great Hayley is?
The line "Well sentence me to another life" makes me think Hayley's speaking to an all-powerful being. A creator who is supposedly responsible for her life, like God.
A lot of other lines, like the entire second verse among others, suggest that Hayley may have changed her views regarding this god, and she thinks that this is a good, freeing thing.
There are a lot of lines about her bandmates' reactions to her losing faith, and a lot of lines that are her dealing with their objections. There are also portions that seem to be Hayley angrily chastising God for creating her flawed and blaming her for messing up.
Just thought I'd toss that speculation out there.
