Aild is far from a politically charged band, they don't "take on the media" or people they don't like through their lyrics. And despite what you are led to believe, aild is a band of Christians, not necessarily a Christian band.
Tim Lambesis, the lead singer said he doesn't want a preachy approach but says "If you truly believe something, then it should effect every area of your life". He says most songs are about life's struggles but that all are written from his perspective as a Christian.
Due to your lack of knowledge in the aforementioned areas, I would assume that you don't know that depravity is a huge point in Christianity and that this song is dealing with the depravity of man away from God. But I assume taking depth out of a song is far above your mental capacity. But it's okay, I just did it for you.
