I think it is about a person, who in the past has lied and all of these lies have built up over time. They want to be rid of them and find their true self, not live a lie anymore just be. Them and he is telling the person they love most or a person the would trust with their life, that he will find who he really is. Love it!

I can't even describe it, I looked at the lyrics without listening to the song and it really hit me. This I just my opinion, and it means something unique to each person so don't tell me that I'm wrong. I feel that it is about a person that is willing to give anything for "the fantasy", even their own life and their need for this "fantasy" has made them just a shell of what they were, not really living, just. I dunno. Being? If that makes sense I actually am in love with this, the lyrics more than anything ♥.

Not my sort of music, but if I'm honest, its excellent! Its says "here comes another juggernaut" which is suggesting that what ever is about to happen, has happened before. And I'm not a know-it-all like some people, Facts ahem, so I don't really have any idea what it is actullaly about, and I'm not gonna argue what other peoples views about it are. It means something different to each person because of personal experiences etc. So only the writers will ever know what it really means.

This song is beautiful, I think it should have been on the album. ♥. It is about someone being in a relationship and when it comes to an end one person forgets about it competely, "Easily forgotten love" and they don't even think about the person anymore, like they are strangers. But the oter person does remember it and it was the best love they've had, and they want the person will remember them.

Apocalypse means the end of the world, so according to the title, they are asking the world to an end. In an interview Matt was asked if he was 'going through a bad period when they were writing/recording Absoution' and he replied that music for him was a way of understanding everything around him and things he hasn't really dealt with pwoperly comes out in the music. I cannot fault any song Muse have made, and I would say they were perfectionists but I think it just how they role; make music, tour, have fun Muse forever ♥.

It is a very political song. Matt Bellamy explained: 'Uprising', was kinda inspired by the G20 protests which took place a couple of years ago. He was watching it in London at the time it was going on, and liked the idea that people dressed up and had fun (a peaceful protest). And the whole economic crisis and mp scandal, where everyone felt they were being ripped off by the people they are supposed to trust. Red tape means causing delay, so they could be distracting the people to keep the truth hidden. I think basically it is about going against the government, not letting them control you and having you own mind, opinions etc. The whole album is very much based on 1984 by George Orwell, which is a must read for Muse fans. I ♥ it so much.

I reckon that this song is about loving someone that has had a bad past, and want to make what they desire a reality, kina fulfilling their most deep dreams to bring them closer. It is also about forgiveness; "i want to reconcile the violence in your heart" reconcile means forgive, so its like starting afresh. One of the best songs on the album, and the artwork is imense ♥ muse ftw!

I think it could be about liking someone who is dangerous, and although you know they are you are still like them. I think the bit about having "a guilty conscience grow" is because you witnessed or know about something bad they have done. And the "i'll hide from the world, behind a broken frame" is because they care for the person too much, or is too scared to tell anyone about them.

The title is a reference to a book called The Limits to Growth (1972) and the Club of Rome think-tank who would create a "map of the problematique" detailing the "global problematique" - a set of likely challenges the world might face in the near future. It could also be a reference to Mars, as its two moons are called "Phobos" and "Deimos", the greek Gods of fear and panic (the first line). I think a lot of the time Matt just titles his songs with something that sounds cool, like Stockholm Syndrome, he said in an interview that it sounded good. I'd love to have a look inside his mind, he's wise beyond his years. ♥♥♥.

This song is amazing, but what is with the twilight video on the side? No, just, no! I bet it was one of the little twitards who put it on, they have seriously got to listen to muse's other stuff and not just the two songs that feature in the twilight soundtrack. I think the translated French part is soo sweet and for Matt to think of these lyrics, he must have a great heart. Muse forever! ♥.

Ahhh first comment: ') I love this song! But I can never listen to it propperly because every time I do, my stupid tard of a brother starts saying 'Captin Fillip\'. I think its about waiting for something good to come and how you feel really happy, and that you can't wait for the memories you're gonna have, and how you will meet new people because of it- "And it's led me on, and on to you" Its a really underestimated song in all :(

It is a story of humanity coming to an end and everyone pinning their hopes on a group of astronauts who go out to explore space and spread humanity to another planet. Part 1 is a jaded acceptance that civilization will end. Part 2 is a desperate hope that sending the astronauts to find and populate other planets will be successful alongside the recognition that this is the last hope. Finally, Part 3 is when the astronauts realize that it is just one big cycle, and recognize that unless humanity can change it will happen all over again. Kinda like the theory of exogenisis (the hypothesis that life originated elsewhere in the universe and was spread to Earth) but in reverse. And don't try and fit them to twilight, just no!
