The lead singer of the Goo Dolls said that he really despises the music he makes. He wishes he could do other stuff, probably does, but he gets fame and money out of the shitty music he makes and therefore sticks with it. People love this bullshit and he's just pulling s*t out of his a* that they gobble up and he knows he can write music that will meet their needs. I don't know if I should respect the ggds for doing this, but it certainly is a nice day job if you think about it. What assholes most people are.
