Personally, I think that this song is about. No one else but god, as you can see in more then several lines of the song: "hes a stranger to some and a vision to none" hes a stranger to atheists, that doesn't believe in god, and a vision to no human. You can also find hints in the row "on his face is a map of the world", I think it means that god is universal and watches over each part of the world, and every person. And the final hints are in the chorus: "From yesterday, it's coming! From yesterday, the fear! From yesterday, it calls him But he doesn't want to read the message here". The word "He" reffers to god, because, there are many people that suffers horros, and no matter how much they call god, he never answers them. "he doesnt want to read the message here"
