It's about a couple of friends that used to meet in the cemetery and drink together. But the woman was married and had problems with her husband, so as a kinda s***w you to him she wore a dress the husband dislikes, and used her friend to "relieve stress". I. E. "the collision of your kiss". The part about the song singing is just her at home being depressed and singing songs that make her want to slit her wrists. But she actually died by the gun shot. If its to be interpretted that she died. Way Down is just how far down the cemetary graves they were. Or it can be interpretted as way down under. "6 feet under"

This song is about the abusive habits of a father. The first part was where they decided not to put up with it anymore. The father is the one in denial. And he's talking about the mother being dead and gone. When he says everyone he ever need always ends up leaving me alone. He's talking about his mother dieing. Drowning in her ashes. Kicking, Screaming is him getting hit. The part about the shrink is also part of most abuse victims. You also get clarification on the mother in the second part. Mother to take your s*t out on.
