I believe this song is about a girl who is in love with someone who does not love her back. While she gives him her all, and does everything he asks, he gives her nothing in return.
The chorus suggests that he has no love for her in return, but is still her light whom she loses herself in, and still cares deeply for. And though she loves him, she knows he is soon going to leave her once more just to rip her heart out again.
