His dad was a cabinet maker, but didn't like the job, and became a band leader. The dad's gift he gave his son was musical talent. The dad tried to be a soldier, but he couldn't stand not being with his music. The son's brothers went separate ways, while he's traveling all the time. Then the son thanks his dead father for everything he ever gave to him, and doesn't think he's said I love you enough.
