In the '90s progress came and outsiders came to the hill country to build track homes. Dirt hauled for $12.00 a load leveled the hills. Uncivilized pagans are the Native Americans and the likes of Davy Crockett that came through the hill country on their way to the Alamo in 1835. They drank straight out of the rivers and streams. Now clean treated sewage water fills the river as the population increases. After the ball game turn on the TV and they smile when they see how things use to me.
