We actually manifest our "fathers" consciously or sub-consciously. The thing is I think we underestimate the role of dads in our lives and how much the child look up to the father as a role model; as the centre of our universe till it's too late. There's a sense of regret, of being too late in recognising that our children are moulded by our time, love and affirmation for them at the end. Our children reflect and echo uncannily our fathers' successes and failures. What you have strove for all your life can become too much to bear at the end of the day.
