I sent this song to my bestfriend after I decided we should take a break and sort our stuff out. We had a really bad break up before he went to college and so our relationship has been a little rocky. But this song describes us perfectly. Every time he comes back we try to make it work. We can't just be friends. We're meant to be more. It's just that he's so far and we can't take care of each other.
But yeah this song is about how when two lovers become seperated they realize that it won't work out as they planned. No matter what they promise, no matter how much they love each other, the distance is just too great for them to bear.
