Back the song. Its notnecissarilytalking about god. Not all the songs that christian bands write are about god. This one is a very good example. It's about the stupidity of people right now. No one ever listens to the words of the wise and elderly, they think that theyre smarter than everyone else and decide that it doesn't matter what someone else has to say because theyre right. Theyre "hearing what they want to hear". And even when they do actually listen they usually only listen to one side of the argument. The so-called "truth that sounds right to their ears" and the songwriters are right! Everyone needs to stop trusting their first instincs and actually use their brains! They were given to us for a good reason.
