This song is actually from another pinoy rock band, called "Rivermaya." I guess Eraserheads did a cover of this song, and that's why people think Eraserheads made this song. I saw another song, called "Grounded Ang Girlfriend Ko," and It's also sang by Rivermaya! Other bans tend to make covers of other songs. That's usually how they form a band.

I don't really know the meaning of this song, but I listen to it daily, and it's gooooood. I'm guessing this part is saying that we are really REALLY far from Ely. Lightyears is a really big distance. And he says we are near, but were still very far.
