This is such a sad and awesome song. You can totally see how the songs that Perry wrote have so much more emotion than the others. Not to this the original Journey, though. My fifth favorite Journey album is Journey. But you have to admit. Him and Schon, and sometimes Cain, really possessed a unprecedented talent that was being held back by fan demand and, by amazingly, their fame. If they had taken the road those two wanted from the beginning, they might have had a better chance of creating a less conflicted view and a bigger following without having to seel themselves to companies to get everything started. Two of them didn't even drink and they did Budweiser commercials. I really am hoping that with Steve Perry's talk of a possible new album, he is open enough to bring in Schon. It really would give it more of the sound that they created. Songs like Chain Reaction, Seperate Ways, and the other songs that were popular but got pushed to the wayside by Cain's talent are the ones that really are in the diamond box of Journey music. Sadly, people don't get past Lights and Don't Stop Believin', so they hardly get a chance to hear Journey in it's prime, pristine state, like Infinity, Evolution, and Departure. Most of Frontiers was great though- exemplifying Faithfully, which was just good. Mostly because of Cain's lovey dovey-ness on everything. But- all Journey is good Journey. I don't even care what it is. I love it all. But some of it is better than others.
