Well personally I believ this song is about a man who broke a girl's heart and left her once and after being away for so long he didn't realize what he had until he lost it. They're on their second time around and she still hurts from the first round he. Knows that its hard for her so that's why he keeps telling her he is never gonna leave this bed and she can take it all he give it all away just to get her back and even fake it he will take what he can get. She doesn't feel the love anymore. That's why he says you push me. And go it isn't working is because she can't find it in her to move on with him.
