It means that when his life is going to sh! T, does he have the streangth to keep it all together, and that some people in ur life don't always help.
The part where he says, "memories dont lie..." I think he's saying that when he needed someone that someone didn't help.

You know I understand that some people just want to have peace and quiet, but that doesn't mean that they have to ruin everyone else's good time, you know what I mean? I love parties, you don't need to drink, have s**, do drugs, although some parties are like that, but you don't need to get high or drunk to have fun. Sometimes all you need is to get some friends together and some mutualy pariciated music, then you might have the greatest time of you life.
