When someone goes through a break up, doesn't everything seem absolutely confusing, stressful, and unbearable? It doesn't have to be a break up either! It can be a family member or friends's death, it could be depression! Whatever the situation is, Marianas Trench couldn't express true love better. And not in the romantic sense ever! When a person says "i love you" to you as a friend or family member, is it truly meant? Do we really think what we're saying to people when we say "i love you"? They have become empty words, and this song to me expresses how true love should be: towards everyone! If you truly love someone, you should be there no matter what you want, be there because it's the right thing to do. I'm learning this myself, so please don't think I'm saying this to be better than anyone. But this song is about true love, not romance.
