Umm I hate to say this Superdrummer, but Chiron was the centaur that trained many heroes throughout greek mythology, for he was immortal as long as there was need for him. Charon was the ferryman to the underworld, not necessarily hell, since the underworld also held the Elysium Fields, the greek equivilant to heaven. And the field of asphodel, basically lymbo. But your meaning of the song is pretty accurate, and don't worry, it's easy to mix the two characters up.
