To me, this song is more than just about a dying man, its about me. I dedicate this song to my ex of 6 years. Through out the years we had the best times in our lives. All the new experiences that will never be new again. Those moments that can't be re-done. That lock up in time in this surreal dream of eternal bliss. But reality is the bliss isn't permanent and the bad times do come; but for a long time we were able to surpass them. But in the end, too many wrong doings scar your heart and make you sour. You leave with regret, hate, and resentment. The actions are too strong to let them go. So this song is to remind ourselves of all the good things that once surpassed all the bad things. To remember who the real person is you let go of and hopefully they remember you the same way.
