I just love this song, but guess what the real meaning is behind it. It's about a friend who's going through a difficult time in his/her life. He/She is dealing with drugs and alcohol. They need help and you are their only true friend to really do anything about it. They love you for who you are. They are also saying that they will risk their life for you. They love you so much they are willing to take that chance with you. They don't care what you look like or how you come to school, they are willing to die for you. They love you and they don't want you to get hurt.

Miley is probably talking about don't let everyday pass you buy without any struggles. You are going to have struggles in your entire life. Up until the day that you die. You won't feel or you wont feel or experience struggles. No matter how hard your life may be, including the sturggles, just be aware that you have friends, and family there to help you along and not change the way that you are. I have a loving girlfriend and no matter what I'm going through, she's always there for me. I can call her anytime, and anywhere. Except when I'm at her house talking to her and other things. But that's not my point. I love her to death and just yesterday she said "Life's a climb, but the view is great". That is so true. I love that. Whenever I see her at school, we have a class together, she knows what's wrong and that's great because she's been there for me forever.
