Lyrics mode has helped me piece together and look at some songs differently when listening, so when I found the meaning behind Janelle, I had to sign up and share.
Don Walker wrote this as a ballad to his young daughter that he missed deeply while touring. Love it even more now. I'm a divorced father with two little girls. I miss them terribly even though we have regular contact.
Great song and such a touching sentiment for his girl to have in her heart as she must have missed him and wondered why he wasn't home much.
