In my personal opinion,Yes & No means, to me, about being genderfluid. One day i won't like be a girl and then the next I do. It shows that not only being genderfluid but being more than one gender is hard and makes you SEEM indecisive. It also tells about liking more than one gender. Me and my girlfriend are bi and I'm panromantic and it is hard liking two or more genders.

I don't really have an exact meaning to this song but a lot of bisexuals actually relate to it as I do and I lot of us face discrimination due to us being seen as "indecisive" and liking one sex one day and then the opposite the next and it is confusing even too us. "Do I feel like being alone or with all of my friends" can be connected directly to the fact that a lot of bisexuals don't feel like they fit in within the LGBTQIA+ community due to still being attracted to the opposite sex as well as others and the lyrics "Cause I live in the in-between" can fit right in with the fact that we have the ability to be attracted to multiple genders."I'll pull you closer into me and I'm pushing you away." Is once again, almost like this tug of war some of us have between being attracted to one gender more than the other one day and then swapping at any time. It is something we don't have control over and we get hate for it
"I'm kinda confused, I'm not in the mood to try and fix me" is a good way to show this as a lot of bisexuals get the, 'just pick a side' line at least some point in their life.
Honestly, this song could be taken in multiple different ways but the bi community has come to relate to it to a massive extent due to how relatable some of the lyrics are. So yeah.

umm, hi. I have seen the bisexual 1 a lot but could it be about bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder? iv always kinda had a connection with this song for that exact reason, I feel like I'm all over the place. I have really high highs and super low lows. sometimes I can stay up all night and go the next day being A-ok and othertimes i could stay in bed for days.

People are talking about bisexuality and bipolar disorder. But I just think that this song is just pure indecisiveness. ("People say I'm indecisive")

The song has lyrics questioning certain stuff ("Do I feel like being alone, or with all of my friends?" / "Don't know if I'm feeling happy") where the person can't come up with an answer ("Fuck I don't know" / "I don't have the answers you need, cuz I live in the inbetween").
The person might've start to give up on trying to find those answers ("I'm not in the mood to try and fix me") because the search would be endless ("Yes, and no, wait I don't know" / "I'll pull you closer into me, and I'm pushing you away").

I can relate to this song a lot, being indecisive, thinking if I should have time on my own or stay with my friends, becoming confused quickly and troubling with answering (personal) questions.

Of course, all the other theories are valid! This is just my thought on the song and how I think the meaning behind it is.

I don’t really know what this song is about. It could be about genderfluidity, pansexuality, bisexuality or about a mental disorder. So I would be thankful if someone could tell me what the song is about. Anyway, I can identify to this song, oft the song isn’t about bisexuality.
