The song title is more or less a direct quote from "The Good Son", which is a movie from the 90's about a kid who turns out to be a psychopath. He creates a lifesized doll who he names "Mr. Highway", takes him to a highway overpass, and sits him on the edge of the bridge. Turning to his cousin, who has no idea what's about to happen, he says, "Poor Mr. Highway, he's thinking about the end. He's had enough of this terrible life." grins, and pushes the doll off the bridge into oncoming traffic, causing a massive accident.

This song is about the alter ego inside of him, most artists have one whether purposefully obtained or not. Pretty much his alter ego is slowly robbing him of his personality and control and giving all of his talent and all of his favorite lyrics he wrote as a kid to a greedy money hungry company. This is all adtr writes about, if you don't believe me check for yourself. This is the harsh reality of the music industry.
