Atira-Lumena – Rising Hearts lyrics

When writing I tend to have a scene playing in my mind and often have partly my experiences and those of others combined so when I write or perform, the lyrics will reach in the correct manner. Rising Hearts is based on any times of feeling down and wanting that feeling to go away. It's also based on when having just left a relationship as this is what I could also picture in my mind. The idea of Rising Hearts however is to demonstrate healing. The title itself is to show how hearts can be lifted. The lyrics also show how to heal, or more to the point, how to allow hearts to heal. I believe one of the hardest things for anyone is betrayal of trust and the hurt that follows more so knowing that person is having the best time following this, it can bring those who have been betrayed down further where loneliness, hopelessness and rejection is excruciating. These lyrics show that it's worth doing what feels the opposite of what we should do. For example, placing ourselves somewhere quiet and lonely to heal. These lyrics point toward that healing place to be the balance between the two routes most will take,, it points in the direction of a retreat that isn't drawing on negative thoughts and isn't going all out on spoiling oneself. It explains a retreat that is basic but beautiful, spiritual, where it becomes awe inspiring, enlightening, where it is peaceful yet the experience is beyond expectation and far more than any type of short lived enjoyment of those that did the hurting. This is also relating to many situations that can arise through life.
