Demi is just saying that she is the real one and she is not lying I think demi is so nice cause she look like one ^_^ and she's is saying that she is where she supposed to be now wait ill sing the {Chorus} this is real this is me I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be now gonna let the light shine on me now I've found who I am there's no way to hold it in no more hiding who I wanna be this is me she is good at composing song I like her ^_^ !

Princess lily, ur are right. You just hav to believe what you can do n hold it tightly just like demi did. My dream is to become an actress and a singer. And I know it's gonna come true cuz I lnow dat I'm gonna grasp it and nt to let go. You all do the same. I know dat what I said has nothing to do with this song, but I love getteng people advice. And I hope this is a good advice.

Princesslily, Demi, I no what yu mean, its like I sang when I was little and now they think my voice can't change or something, I mean I love singing, but I want to show everyone that I can sing! And like my family don't believe I can sing and then they wonder why I don't sing around them!

The true meaning of the song is you have to be the song you sing. It's like a chain reaction. The song you sing has to be who you really are. It reflects what's deep inside you. Music is created by God to express our feelings to others.
In this song, Demi is kinda finding someone who can cheer her up. And she found someone just because of music!

Alright everyone.
I've been receiving A lot of corrections for this song, and it's very tiring to go through them all, I know some of you might be confused about what you think their saying in this song, but I've copied these lyrics directly from the lyrics booklet that comes with the official soundtrack cd so whatever you think their saying in this song, it's wrong, and please don't bother correcting these lyrics they will only be denied. Abby, are you mentally ill? I think you are because you can't say they suck for no reason whatsoever, don't be prejudiced. Think about other people for a change. You're not the only one. I like Demi Lovato. She's a good singer, you may not like her but a lot of people, including me, do! So go complain on some other lyrics site. This one is not a prejudiced one.
This is such a good song feat. The Jonas Brothers. Demi and the jbs rock together. :)
