    For me the meaning of this song is. Losing someone you love that you don't want to let him/Her go away because you love him/Her so much. But you set him/Her free just to make him/Her happy. Because not all relationship will last forever. And that's our destiny in love. If you learn how to love, you must also learn how to be hurted and letting go of someone you love even if it hurts.

    This reminds me of my sister who I cannot see any more because of my mum's boyfriend. My father is going to divorce my mum. I am not allowed to see my mother's side of family, my mom is angry at them.

    I didn't know he had cancer what kind of cancer but anyways I love this song very and it makes me cry and the video is wrong it should be of her and her granddad not miley and her mom just miley and her granddad but I want to say this to the granddad I'm very sorry about your cancer I wish you didn't have cancer :( ♥ to granddad love ya bye (R.I.P granddad).

    I love this song cos it reminds me of my grandma who died miss you nan I know your up there watching me and your proud of who I am and anything I do. I miss you nan it seems like your still here and I know your in a better place but I wish you was still with me sooo I'm dedicating this song to my gran I know she died when I was 6 and that was like 4 years ago.

    This is totally one of her best songs. She wrote it for her grandpa. This song reminds me of my grandpa, grandma and nephew. My grandma died when I was 2, my grandpa when I was 10, and my nephew when I was 4. My nephew was exactly 4 months old when he died. My sis was just as heart broken as me and my parents were because that was her first son. Ok, I don't want to talk about it anymore, I'm gonna start crying. I miss you guys! ♥.

    I absolutely love this song. I dedicate this song to my nana, she past away maybee about 4 years ago); and I still cry now but I know she's in a better placee and hopefully proud of the person who I became and live today as. She meant this whole world to me but now that's she's gone it' feels like I've lost a part of mee but I know in my heart that she's right there and always will be.     I love this song so much. My grandpa died in 07'. It hurts for me and my family but I know he is watching over me. Like he always told me 'Follow your, and your dreams. No one can get in your way of your biggest dream. 'i miss him so much my grandma is really sad too. And at his funerel I sang this song and I was crying too. But I know he is watching over me. I love you grandpa!

    This song reminds me of my bf Richard. Who moved back to Korea the day before yestarday. I miss him like crazy. I wish I hadnt fallen in love. It would be a lot less hard to say goodbye to him.

    This is one of my favorite. It reminds me of my grandmother who passed away two years ago:(i love her so much that I really don't want to let her go but it took me a long time to just forget about it. My grandma was my bestfriend and everytime I hear this song it reminds me of her. The way she looks at me and just tell me that everything is gona be alright. I miss you and I miss your smile.     This song keeps me loving my dad. He died a year ago and it happened so suddenly I was shocked he asked me for a soda and I told him when he came back I would give it to him not knowing that would be the last words I said to him! I mis him so badly, I was not ready to let him go, nearly every night I dream about him. He never got to hold my kids and never made it to my lil brother's graduation and I know that really hurt him. He missed out on a lot since he died and I wish he was still here to see what we have become because within that year I got engaged and he will not be here to walk me down the isle so this song lets him know that we will always love him.

    I lost my great uncle on march 10th early in the morning and then a few days later my boyfriend dumped me because I couldn't hang out with him because of my uncle! I didn't tell him about my uncle because I didn't want him to be sad since it was march break and he thought I just didn't want to see him! Everytime I listen to this song I cry because it reminds me of my uncle my ex and my brother going into fostercare, and me missing there hugs!

    This song is awesome because it song is a part of mine. I miss my boyfriend anjay who passed away in last year and I m so upset when I remember him. He is the best guy ever in my entire life.     If someone in your life is gone, you know they're in a better place than before when they were suffering if they were sick. My pa-pa allen was sick & died when I was only 2 weeks old. I am now 10, but it still gets to me. My aunt liz's daddy died not too long ago from cancer, and I could've lost my pa-pa willie from it also. I bought this on my ipod for their sake. I miss you mr.     I've never lost a loved one and I guess I'm lucky in that sense but reading all these comments it makes you stop and think when we complain that our coffee is too cold or our taxes too high, but we never realise that we don't really know pain until we've suffered something like this.     Man, this song really hit the spot, I have lost all my grandparents within the last 7 years. I lost my dad when I was real small. I'm 36 years old now, and I always shead a tear for all of them. I know they are all in a better place, but no matter what, i'll always love and miss them dearly. For this singer to be so young, she really knows how to sing out to her loved ones.     This song is really sad becouse I lost my papa when I was 7 years old! He dead on sunday at his work! And we don't know why or how it happen! So I listen to this I still think of him when I do listen to this! So I became goth and sad a lot! When my papa dead he was holding our family together! Papa I really miss you!
