I have always wondered if this song was written about the Milmerra massacre, which occurred in Sydney 2nd September 1984. The massacre took place at a pub carpark between warring rival outlaw motorcycle ganga The Bandidos and the Comancheros. To date it is the worst single-event bikie massacre in Australia. Unfortunately, several innocent people were killed or injured, alas one person ki lled was an innocent 15 year old girl " caught in the crossfire". Her name was Leanne. This song was released the following year, i still wonder if it is about that tragedy. RIP Leanne.
