Moments is about a girl who dies (if we could only have this life for on more day -harry) and the boy commits suicide cause he can't live without her and the boy didn't tell her that he loved her (moments i'll dind the words to say) (I'm not sure about this but I think) so yeah it's very sad and the songs ed sheeran writes is sad like legohouse but I love 1d their songs can be for anyone and btw I cried in moments like 3x and taken 2 x it's sad so thumbs up if you liked this and btw if I'm louder would you see me?

Apparantly eddy wrote this song for lou because of lou's past relationship with hannah (louhannah) and that's why lou's part is emotional, it's said that it's about how louis wanted hannah back, but no one knows the truth c: and since ed is friends with 1d he could've got the idea from them, but then again there's a rumor it's about a girl who dies from some disease and her boyfriend committing suicide because he couldn't live without her. Well who knows :)

I assumed it was about two friends who knew each other for a long time and fell in love with each and decided to commit to one another through the act of s**. I thought it meant the first the they lost their virginity because it was something that is so precious and in a way makes a declaration of love to each other by following through even though it's nerve- wracking and scary because they know that once they go down this road there is no turning back so they go ahead and do it anyway. That's what I got from it.

About a girl who dies and his boyfriend commits suicide becasue he can't stand living with out her listen to zayns part of the song very clearly it says about him commiting suicide. And liam and nialls part is them being depressed and sad. Louis part is all about him misising her and being sad. While harrys part is about the guy that he would want to turn back time. And finally when they all sing together its about the guy knowing that hes willl always be there for her because he loves her with all his heart. P. S I start getting immotional when I hear the song *blushes* :|

I love this song I love one direction so much I have loved them from day 1 and I love louis tomlinson alot and I love the group to they are all so telented I wish I could see them but I can't they don't go any where near where I live but these guys are like gold to me I love all there songs and this is my favourate song of there's it makes me cry everytime I can not live without this song even thogh it is sad and it makes me think of my experiences and what I tryed to do when someone really close to me died and I tryed to kill my self but then I realised that it was wasnt what he wanted me to do so to this day my life has gotten worse and still want to kill myself but I know he never wanted me to coz I am still young and still learning I am 15 people and this song is dedicated to my best friend who died and I tryed to kill myself because of it I love you and you are always in my heart no matter what.

The lyrics in the chorus are like a desperate plea from the guy to the girl he loves, wishing he could turn back the time and tell her he would be her everything so she didn’ t have to die: “ you know i’ ll be your life, your voice, your reason to be, my love, my heart, is breathing for this, moment in time, i’ ll find the words to say, before you leave me today. ”.
Then as this boy is so desperate and sad that he has lost the love of his life, he ends his life by jumping off a building, you can see the thoughts and memories that flash before his eyes before he jumps: “ flashing lights in my mind, goin’ back to the time, playin’ games in the street, kickin’ balls with my feet. There’ s a numb in my toes, standing close to the edge, there’ s a pile of my clothes, at the end of your bed. As I feel myself fall, make a joke of it all. ”.

I love one direction this song makes me cry because one of my guy friends is moving to tenessee and I love him so much and don't want him to go. I want to tell him how I feel but I don't know how and also it will just makes things harder when he leaves. But like this song says, in time ill find the words to say before you leave me today. Ed sheeran (the singer/songwriter, most known for singing the song "a team" who in fact liam payne also said that ed sung a big of "moments", yet it's so little and hard to be pointed out, explained in an interview that this song is about a girl who is dying- or is dead, and her boyfriend is committing suicide to be with her forever. "there's a numb in my toes standing close to the edge there's a pile of my clothes in the edge of your bed as i feel myself fall make a joke of it all" -specifically this bit is about him killing himself. When someone is on the edge, it means that they are dangerously close to any kind of self harm.

Actually the writer of the song ed sheeran said it is not abot suicide, he addressed it on his official twitter page on march 25th. He said some made up a rumor that it was about suicide but that it is not. To me the beauty of music is that its made for us interprtet in our own way and relate to it personally. To me the song seem like its about memories of a relationship and wanting to go back in time and be everything to that person and make it right.

This song is so bee-tee-full, indeed. It is so meaningful. I cry whenever I listen to it. Okay. From what I understand, this song means: a guy who lost his girlfriend. His girl suffered some sort of a disease or something. Then, he decided to commit suicide to be with her. And he jumped from somewhere high. Niall, liam, zayn, louis and harry bring the song beautifully. No ones can describe how I love them. One directioner forever.

The meaning about 'moments';
Liam's part; the girl is dead and he wants to be with her. It finally sets in that she is dead. He's remembering all the times they had and he's also crying.
Harry's part; he wants to save her.
Harry, niall, zayn, liam & louis; they think of what they would of said to her before she died.
Niall; he doesn't want to be reminded of her being dead. He is thinking of killing himself.
Louis; doesn't know what to do, he is crying.

Ed Sheeran (who wrote this song) made a statement saying this song is about a girl who dies, and her boyfriend kills himself because he can't live without her. The way I interpret this song, is the first verse is the boy and the girl spending their last day just lying beside each other. In the chorus, he pledges his love to her and says he will find a way to express it to her before she has to leave him at the end of her last day. "time escapes me" he wants to make every second count, but doesn't know how. That, I think, is what this entire song is about. "trembling hands touch skin/it makes this harder" I always see this line as him holding her hand or touching her arm, almost to check she's still warm, and it makes it harder because he can't help thinking of the time he will touch her and she will be cold. But in the second verse, it's too late, she's already gone. He locks himself away in his room because he can't deal with his sadness or the outside world, because everything reminds him that she's gone. "and a silent/voice is numb/try to scream out my lungs" he is so distraught he tries to scream out all his emotion, but he just winds up losing his voice, which makes everything even harder. The second chorus, is almost as though he's remembering his promise to tell her how much he loves her, but it's too late now. "my judgements clouded/like tonights sky" the emotion is making it hard for him to see clearly and make decisions. This line also shows he is in an open space (a rooftop?)
"flashing lights in my mind/goin back to the time" his life flashes before his eyes, remembering times he was happy. "there's a pile of my clothes/at the end of your bed" he left his things in her room, but is too sad to go back and collect them. Going back to her room without her would be too hard. "as i feel myself fall/make a joke of it all" whenever I hear this line, I always get a mental image of him letting himself fall of the edge and laughing a bit through his tears. When the last chorus is repeated twice, I see it as once is him saying it again to his girlfriend, and once is the girl saying it back. She must also be so sad to be leaving him.
Sorry for the super long post. But that's always how I interpret this song, and it always brings me close to tears.

It is about that being with that special person who makes you feel like you have a new purpose in life, and the moment they leave; you feel empty. Being with that person makes you feel like you can accomplish anything. The heartbeat, the touch, the feeling keeps you going on in life just for them. Enjoy the moment in time because you never know when they will leave you. Remember to love with everything you got.

Yeah, this song gets me everytime. One of my favourite songs at the moment. But it's about a boy who never told the girl he loved that he loved her, and she committed suicide/died somehow leaving him to also commit suicide. This song makes me cry every time I hear it, I listen to it over and over and I still cry, I'm a complete mess after I listen to it, I love this song to bits and I love the boys who sung this song too, I don't think that song would have suited any other artist (if that made sence) no-one could ever sing this song better then one direction, they were perfect for this song, I love this song, the story line about the song, the people who sung it and the person who wrote it, thank you ed sheeran and one direction for creating and sharing this amazing song to the world.

Such a beautiful song sang by five beautiful boys. Whenever I give a listen to this song, I can't help but cried almost everytime. The fact that this song deals with a boy who wanna commit suicide because his girlfriend is dead make me feel so bad. Niall and louis's solo are perfect. Actually, they all are perfect, as always. I had tears in my eyes the first time I heard it. I bawled my eyes out when I found out that it's about a boyfriend committing suicide after his girlfriend dies. As much as I want this to have a video I don't think I can stand to see the boys depressed (even as acting) in there videos. First song that has moved me enough to make me cry my eyes dry.

Moments is about a bf/ gf in a relationship getting intimate and its a moment in there relationship that has brought them closer.
You'll understand this especially in zayn's part where he is singing about them being young when they were best friends and after all theses years they are together. Then he sings about being on the edge of the bed and his clothes piled there.

I think moments is a song with a lot of meaning and regret. One direction are trying to point out you don't know how much you'll miss something until it's gone. In particular it's about a break up and how much the boys will give to go back to what they had before with their ex partner. Its about how hard it is to get over someone no matter how hard you try they still mightn't want you back. Its a really sad song. But 1d are super hott! Lol go zaynn! And nialler and liammm and louiee and harry :)

I think the song is beautiful and it is about two people who love each other a lot but something deep and intense happened betweem them (you cansee how close they were in the song) and the guy really wants her to stay so that it get backs to what it was but the girl is soo heartbroken or confused that she needs to leave probably in her mind it is irreversable but the guy is alomst begging her to stay wishing that she will get over it and see that he would do anything for her that's why there is the part turn back time and have that life they shared together for a little longer he doesn't want to move forward you can really feel him breaking in the lyrics.

Two people in a relationship and one of them is leaving the other, and the other person just wants their relationship to go back to the way it was, hence the line, "if we could only turn back time". The person is saying to the one that is leaving that they are their world and they cannot live without them. :) its a really beautiful song but I was kinda sad it wasnt on their album, along with na, another world and stand up :(

One Direction saved my life and many other teenage girls too. People think this song is about other things but its not about sex or other things people have said it is about.
