    When I was 15, I met a beautiful young girl of the same age. We fell deeply in love and could hardly wait until we could marry. We talked about how many children we would have and where we would build our home. One year later her family moved over 1000 miles away. We spoke on the phone every day for almost a year. One day her aunt called to say that she had died. She was ill with encephalitis. She said that she was going away on a short vacation so I would not know that she was in the hospital. I asked why nobody told me she was there. I would have flown to see her. She told her parents not to tell me. She knew that I would get there as soon as possible and she told them that she knew that she might die and said to them, "I love him too much to have him come and watch me die, I won't do that to him! Even on her deathbed, she thought of me. It was many decades ago and I'm not over her and I never will be.
