    This explains the difference of love between stories and real life.In stories,the prince takes the princess on the horse,and they live happily ever after.But in real life,they don't do that.In the verse,"so call me a pessimist but I don't believe in it"means that all fairy tale believers who think love is just THAT simple,calls her a pessimist.Also,"My fairy grandma warned me Cinderella's story only ended up in a bad divorce"means not every relationship is perfect and happy.and that is also the meaning of "cause I felt bad love,I felt sad love."The meaning behind "now I'm twenty something,i still know nothing,'bout who I am or what I'm not" means that even though she's twenty,she hasn't found love yet,or in the found out who is truly is,and in the stories,all princesses marry when they are only tweens and teens.Also,you don't do magic in the real world just to make good things happen.(ngl,I do believe in magic though) That's the meaning of "had me wishing on a shooting star"She also does not know what true love feels like in the real world.
