I am amazed people are still this close-minded and up in arms over lyrics that can barely even be construed as controversial. The lyrics even bend over backwards to ensure its as lightweight as possible - ensuring listeners know she has a 'boyfriend', she thinks 'its wrong', but just did it 'to try it'. To the parents out there who are scared this will cause their young daughters to start making out with their friends - I have news for you - all this song does is speak about something that already is probably 80% likely to happen anyways. I'm over 30 and of all the 'hetero' women I know (whether they be married, with boyfriends or single) - they have all at least kissed a girl once in their lives. Come on - this is no big deal! Be more concerned your children will try drugs, commit crimes or put themselves in dangerous situation more than "a kiss". Religious or not - time to set your priorities straight. And while this song completely is not even talking about being g*. This is 2008 people. Get a grip! For those who are offended, why not just continue living in your pristine bubbles and stay there and leave the rest of the world to people who want to love not judge.
