This song is about a girl named Aisha. She was a prisoner in the war and Jared was actually the one who helped her. Shes saying how shes thankful for the heroes who saved her. She ended up dying by being shot. During that war her and her people decided to fight back. That is how she ended up dying by being shot by the enemy.

He is saying how he needs to know that God is there for him. So that he has a God to look to and cling to. He is also saying how he has failed God or sinned so many times and he wants to apologize to God.

It actually about God. Lacey wrote it because she knew either the band would split up, or one of the members would leave. The original version is off of the EP called "Broken Wings". The Lyrics "thank you for being such a friend to me, oh I pray a friend for life, and have I ever told you how much you mean to me." means that she's thanking everyone in the band for being her best friends. Which is why on her last album "New Horizons" this song was on there. She was saying bye to Pat, Jared, James, and Sameer. But she was also saying bye to us, her fans.

This is a question that everyone was asking. How many people will die? Of course 22 people died. Including Cassie and another girl named Rachel. In the EP version of this song you can hear Lacey sing about Rachel. Rachel was a firm believer in God and she died too. Except that Eric and Dylan already knew she believed in God.
