I used to really hate this song but after a while I tottaly related to this song. I thought my best guy freind liked me, but he kinda did and he also likes another girl. That's why when boys treats a girl really bad that girl might be able to forgive him, but deep down their always going to have that memory. I think that when a boy cheats on a girl, it's just really horrible it hurts a girl while it plesures boys. Sometimes it may be the opposite but it still hurts no matter which does it.

I love this song! This song what I think it means is that when someone really, like really loves you they may not show that something is wrong and I think that in Verse 2 that is what she is trying to explain. How that saying good-bye may not be everyone's favorite thing to do but sometimes you have no other choice and when I listen to this song I feel bad that I wasn't there when my Grandpa was in need of my help. It's really sad when it gets to that point where Mariah is trying to explain that even though your not beside physically they're always going to be there in your heart and soul and it sometimes gives you pain to think about it that way and maybe that's how life is. That's why I love this song! Rock on Mariah!
