    I love this song so much I know they are A christian bnd but too me this song is talkin about love like A strong relationship. "ILL NEVER WAKE UP WITHOUT A OVERDOSES OF YOU" is my fav line and one of the strongest out of the song itz saying that without you my spirit will never wake or ill fall into A deep sleep within myself I just love this song xd.

    There is no doubt about it. Religion can't wake me up. Church wake me up. Buddha can't wake up. Cause there is one God one savior No other name than Jesus Christ. I never knew that I was asleep until God woke me up. Now I "Oh how i thirst for you, oh how I need you King Jesus" I swear if you ask God to mess you up so that your hearts song really says that he'll do it. You'll love it. You'll love Him. You'll never regret.

    Are you serious? Dmaster something like that. "since it's the band is christian doesn't mean it's about God"
    It's obviously about God bro, like really. If it was about a girl than he kind of going against who he is suppose to be. "I don't wanna live, I don't wanna breathe, less i feel you next to me". I am willing to be like $600 it's about God. This song would be depressing if it was about a girl, plus he has a fricking wife and is a good christian. Why would he need to greive? The song is about God like most of the other ones, no hands raised.

    How can you not see God in this song? Comatose I'll never wake up unless I have an overdose of you. (you as in god!) When it says "i dont wanna dream. cause my dreams dont comfort me the way you make me feel" it means he's sick of being asleep. (metophorically) and he wants God to wake him up se he can feel again. "Oh how I thirst for you" he is hungry and thirsty for God. He is the only one who can quench his thirst.

    I am 100% sure this is a christian band. Anyone who says otherwise must've never gone to a skillet concert. Just because their lyrics can be taken to be about romantic love does not mean that it is not christian. This song was most likely written about god but was written in a way that can reach out to non-christians. Skillet's mission field is at the concerts they play in with many non-christian bands. They write songs that get them a following that most other christian bands cannot get by making their songs not in-your-face blatantly obvious christian songs. Then they tour with non-christian bands and have a very moving message that they share with their fans. However, anyone analyzing their lyrics from a christian standpoint can see that they are very powerful for god's purpose.

    I never knew that the song was really powerful. I'm seriously struggling with a lot of things until I listen to this song then I start getting lifted up to do what needs to be done and after I listen to this I listen to Lucy unforuneately it reminds me of the ending of Fairytail.

    Seriously, if it has to be debated whether or not the song is about God or a girl, we ought to ask ourselves if this type of song ought to be considered Christian at all. Look at the psalms. Which of the 150 psalms leaves any doubt as to whom it is about? True Christian songs do not leave any doubt about God. Reconsider what you listen to folks. This stuff is not of God. Find some good hymns or spiritual songs that teach about and worship God clearly "in spirit and in truth" (John 4: 24).

    If I didn't know Skillet was supposed to be a christian band I wouldn't be shocked. This song in no way points to God. Skillet is going mainstream and leaving behind their roots. Either your with God or with the world and those you follow. I won't waste my time listening to garbage like this.
