I hsave been saved and this song helps me look at myself in the mirror everyday I wake up. I know that god is with me and his son died for me, but I still feel the monster that is deep inside me. The thing this song helps me realize is that I don't have to give in and with god's help I can control how I am. I'm also happy that because of the monster the is with in me, that god has blessed me with (i know that sounds stupid but it's true) that I can pursue my dream of wrestling and that when the time comes god will allow me to let go then calm me down and cage the beast again.

I think it means someone who is hiding a bad part to themselves and they don't want anyone to see this or they could be trying to run away from insanity that is over coming them and nobody is trying to help them. They could possibly need to grasp something that is important to them but they keep on hurting the others. Then again I always think this song is like someone is portrayed as scary and dark while they are actually nice and just trying to fit in. If you've seen hetalia, Russia, then you'll know what I mean.

The monster in the song is that secret sin that only we know about. That thing that whatever it is p***, lies, food, ect. It is starting to control us not the other way around. When you get to the point that you want to change you can't because it has taken control like an addiction and the only way out is to expose it for what it is a monster.

Sounds like someone needs some deliverance. If this is how you feel, then you need to draw near to god and learn what it's like to enjoy the fruit of the spirit. We are all new creatures in christ when we receive him. If a monster is still within you, you need to talk with someone who can help you learn the truth about what being spiritual is. The truth is that the enemy is defeated and you are able to overcome.

This is literally me! My monster, my inner demon, seems to be searching for me. All these feelings deep within tryin to climb outside all controlled by inner demon, there full of insanity. The socially awkward, weird, sensitive, kind, optimistic girl is just the outside. My inner demon wants to escape. It wants me. Sometimes I just want to scream every time I feel it coming closer I want to hide! It makes me scared what would happen if this monster deep within breaks out. What if I hurt the people I love. It's like taunting me telling me to try my best to keep it locked up but it'll find its way out. And bring me to hell with it. Okay, now I'm just scaring myself. But, these are just my thoughts.

I feel like this is me. I have a monster inside of me, of I let it out. It will destroy my soul and heart. I kept it inside for a long time, but now I can't control myself and this monster. If I even dare to let it out. I will loose the battle of good and evil. But I already won. Evil has won me. Now you need to hold my monster because if I let it go it will hurt people I love.
