The singer in this song has a bunch of regret. Some thing in the past happend that he wished didn't. The gurl that he truley loved he lets go; but the thing that he did wrong was he didn't fight for her to win her back he just let her go. And now sitting back in his lonesomeness he realises that he let some thing good go, he finally realises that he had a good thing. He had a good love, but he realised it too late. "so heres my chance ro a new begginig, i saved the best for a better ending, and in the end ill make it up to you, youll see youll get the very best of me". Now hes willing to fight and proove his love. Then the bridge. " your time is running out you're never gonna get ti bavk make the most of every moment stop saving the best for last... " its like hes talking about his self. Hes putting his self down like the whole world is on his sholders. But then again he knows that if he doesn't step up now and tell her how he feels he may never get another chance. So tomorrow will be a day too late. "one day too late".

'Make a change, Make the world a better place, cuz tomorrow could be one day too late. ' You never know how much time you have left so live your life and live it out loud.
