To actually use the book you need a persons name and face to avoid people with same names. Misa had these eyes. And judging by the line it'll be forever or go down in flames, it was wrote before the show came to an end. Verse 2 describes Misa's appearance and attire. I love this song it explains every past relationship she has gone through. How she gives them the key to her heart but on the way they lose it, or they never really accepted it. How she tried to be the good girl, but it just never worked out. How even though she is famous she still has feelings. There is no exception for famous people. Boys still break her heart. Like how at the beginning of the video this new guy shows up. We don't know who he is he could be famous or he could be just anyone. He looks perfect on the outside. She finds out later on that he isn't as good as his appearance may be. Then, the next guy comes along. He might be the one, but he may not be. You have to really think about the things she says. I f you don't it will leave you clueless. This is one of my favorite songs for a reason. Not because it has a catchy tune, But because it teaches you something. This is just likely to be a song for a person that falls in love with another guy as I said. People have problems with the people they like or fall in love with. The meaning of this song is that she has a blank space for someone and once she gets a good friend or boyfriend probably a boyfriend they cheat or do something wrong to her. So how she gets the anger and pain out if from writing songs. I think it's satirical on the way she is portrayed in the media. "Got a long list of exlovers" is the reference to the media claiming that she has had so many boyfriends in the past, "I've got a blank space baby" is her saying that it's the same story over and over but with different men. The part of the song when she says: "find out what you want, be that girl for a month, wait, the worst is yet to come", it is referencing the perception that many 'haters' hold that she is manipulative and evil and it means that she lures these men in to a relationship with her before revealing her true self leaving her unsuspecting boyfriends asking themselves, "oh my God, who is she?" Because to her "loves a game". Obviously in this scenario she is showing psychopathic tendencies that might make her ex loves"tell you [she's] insane" This song is a dig at her haters and how she is perceived by them which is made ironic due to the fact that in saying pretty much to the world that she's a crazy bitch/psychopath it has furthered her undeniable success.
